Giada De Laurentiis is an amazing inspiration and influence. I adore her as a chef as she perfectly infuses divine food with such simplicity. I've heard that her white bean dip is decadent so I had to try it.
1 can cannellini beans
3 tsp minced garlic
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 c parsely
1/4 c olive oil
Pita
Italian seasoning
1 tsp paprika
2 tsp garlic powder
salt & pepper
Add the first 5 ingredients into a blender and pulse to a smooth consistency. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Cut the pita into long strips, drizzle oil, and sprinkle italian seasoning. You can also sprinkle parmesan cheese.
Bake the pita chips under the broiler for about 1 min until light and toasty.
This dip tastes similar to hummus. It's creamy, luscious, and slightly lemony.
Ideas:
It's a great alternative for using mayo in sandwiches.
Spread on a garlic toast and top it off with fresh bruschetta.
This is so good! I got to try it first hand:) thanks Naomi for another amazing meal:)
