Bacon, Korean style

Pork belly get in my belly! Koreans love to BBQ: Beef, Chicken, Pork, Seafood in all types of marinades. Most meats are marinated in a sweet garlic soy sauce. Other meats are smothered with a spicy fermented red pepper paste. My favorite choice is the pork belly. It is uncured, thick cut and mighty delicious! On the left is a mixture of kimchi and bean sprouts to eat along with the bacon.

Once the meat is cooked through it is cut into bite sized pieces then grilled further to individual preferences. I like a good sizzle on mine but not crunchy. You pair your pork with different side dishes.
Onion and greens salad with a sweet soy dressing. Kimchi and radish to the right to give it a nice spicy and sour punch.
Yummy mixture of vegetable of meat. I seriously cannot get enough of this stuff. Definitely try this dish, it's mouth watering delicious.
To wash everything down my family likes to end our meal with an enormous Strawberry Slush dessert. Shaved ice, fresh strawberries, mochi, strawberry ice cream, and strawberry cream syrup to top it all off. Refreshingly sweet and heavenly. We always fight for the mochi (sweet rice cake) pieces.
